Puri Jagannath has forgotten the experience of 'hit' after Desa Muduru. The 'Pokiri' director who turned the fate of Telugu film industry commercially declared that he made all flops after 'Desa Muduru'. Bujjigadu, Ek Niranjan, Neninthey, Nenu Na Rakshasi turned big flops. Golimaar is ok but commercially didn’t do well.
'BBuddah' got good talk initially but finally it remained as an above average film (although a big hit in some places in North India). Bbuddah brought fame for Puri Jagannath in Bollywood for making the film in such shoe string budget. It brought profits for all the investors.
Now Puri returned from script session for 'The Businessman' from Bangkok. He said that he is free from all financial tensions and hence able to concentrate well. He said that he made films not knowing what he had been shooting in recent times. He attributed that to personal tensions. "Since I'm tension free now as I cleared all debts, I'm able to concentrate on my product".
Well, that is a good sign. Puri is known for his frankness. Let us wish that what he is saying about 'The Businessman', his upcoming venture is true.
