Priya Anand is reported to have signed as the second heroine in Kamal Haasan directed Viswaroopam. Kamal is still looking around for a glamorous leading lady to be cast opposite to him.

Priya has just two Tamil releases Vaamanan and 180. Now she is on the lookout for more meaty roles, and the offer from Kamal Haasan landed up on her lap.

The actress had done an audition under the guidance of Kamal, but has been told to keep a studious silence over it. It has been made clear that it will be Kamal Haasan who will be making the official announcements regarding the film.

Some time back Shriya Saran had hinted in the media that she has been chosen to do a role in Viswaroopam, which the actress had to deny following Kamal getting upset about her jumping the gun.
