balasubramanyam chooses kamal over chiru

Lengendary singer SP Balasubramaniam was the guest to the Talk Show 'Prematho Me Lakshmi', hosted by Lakshmi Manchu.

Lakshmi have posed an interesting question to Balu. Q) Whom do you like the most - Chiranjeevi or Kamal Hassan?

"I like Kamal Hassan, as he has portrayed variety of characters all through his acting career. But, Chiru sticked himself to regular commercial films," said Balu.

Balu also re-collected an interesting coversation that took place between him and the Megastar.

"Once, I asked Chiru to do films which are out of the box, rather than the commercial potboilers he usually do. He then reminded me about the fate of his film 'Apadbhandavudu' & 'Rudraveena', which were not a regular commercial films went on to turn duds at the Box Office. Reacting to Chiru's version, I asked him to re-collect the result of 'Mrugaraju', which is an out and out commercial film," said the Legendary Singer.

Though it looked like any other normal conversation between two film buffs, the result was something different and unusual. With this incident differences prompted between the two legends. Even Balu didn't show any interest to speak about Chiranjeevi, when the star was awarded 'Padma Bhushan'.
