Srinu Vytla who proved himself as a successful director in presenting comedy throughout in his films is now planning to extend his roots to Bollywood.

Srinu Vaitla’s latest film ‘Dookudu’ starring Prince Mahesh in the lead is yet to hit the screens, but it has started creating waves.

Buzz is that the director had narrated the story of the film to Bollywood super star Salman Khan who was impressed with it and gave green signal instantly without a second thought.

We saw many South films going North, but only after they proved successful here. But Srinu Vaitla’s ‘Dookudu’ is making its way to Bollywood even prior to its release in Telugu.

Srinu Vaitla’s films are usually fun-filled entertainers. Recently, we saw his ‘Ready’ remade in Hindi with Salman Khan in the lead. It is learnt that the director did not have any difficulty in convincing Salman. According to sources, the film is likely to hit floors in October.
