Bhaskar set to direct Karthi in his next

Bhaskar made his debut as director through 'Bommarillu' produced by Dil Raju with Siddhartha and Genelia in the lead, which was a blockbuster and gave lead to several producers and directors to take up family and sentiment subjects. Bhaskar proved himself as a successful director with his debut film and is now going to direct a film with Allu Arjun as hero. His third film with Ram Charan ‘Orange’ released in 2010, proved to be the biggest commercial disaster at box office.

It has been close to 10 months, since Bommarillu Bhaskar was last seen. Post his mega-budget Orange disaster, he kept himself out of the media glare. Now, it seems the filmmaker has decided to come out from the hangover, as he is gearing up for his next project with Tamil actor Karthi.

Karthi, who has delivered hits in Telugu through dubbed films, has confirmed the news. He claims that he is excited to work with his first straight Telugu film. Thanking the Andhra Pradesh audience, he says that they have got large heart and have always loved him.

His previous movies like Awara, Yuganiki Okkadu and recent release Naa Peru Siva, have been received well by the audience. As a result, he has decided to act in a straight film. His first Telugu venture will be directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar. The script has all the ingredients of success, claims Karthi.
