News that every Mega Fan would rejoice to hear about is the marriage of Mega Power Star Ram Charan Teja. Its official now Ram Charan Tej will be getting engaged to sweetheart Upasana Kamineni on September 2nd.

Chiranjeevi sprouted a surprise by announcing the engagement date of his son Ram Charan Teja on Twitter. The date is final: September 2. The suspense over the date was finally over when Chiranjeevi, took to twitter, via his official spokesperson, to announce the news to scores of fans and well-wishers alike.

It is not known whether the family will invite the media or will keep it a private affair. On last sunday, Megastar’s family went to Dr.Reddy’s house and discussed this matter.

The lucky girl is Ram Charan's longtime girl friend Upasana Kamineni, who is the granddaughter of Dr Prathap C Reddy, founder-chairman, Apollo Hospitals. Upasana herself is the Vice President of Apollo Philanthropy.

Ever since the news of their engagement was broken by a news channel last Saturday, Upasana's picture has been splashed across newspapers, tv and Internet.

Although rumors on the duo seeing each other have popped up in the mid last year, the mega family remained tight-lipped on this issue.
