Pawan Kalyan Pairs Up With Shruthi Hasan

Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film Gabbar Singh finally gets a heroine. Shruti Haasan has been finalized as the female lead in it. First they considered Kajal’s name but she couldn’t adjust her dates as per Gabbar Singh’s schedules. Hence, Shruti got an opportunity to romance Pawan.

Despite her first film AOD being a dud, Shruti is still considered hot in Tollywood circuit. She is playing the female leads in NTR’s film and Siddharth’s O My Friend. She also has two big projects on her hand in Tamil cinema.

Almost all the cast and crew of Gabbar Singh have been finalized and the film’s regular shooting will start in July. This film is expected to be ready for release by next Pongal.

The film, which is going to be the remake of Bollywood blockbuster ‘Dabangg’, is a mass, action entertainer. Pawan Kalyan will appear as a police officer in it.

‘Gabbar Singh’ will be directed by Harish Shankar (of Mirapakai fame). Actor-turned producer Ganesh Babu is producing it. The film will go on sets from next month. More details about the film will be out soon
