t is known news to all that Varun Sandesh is right now doing a film under the direction of Neelakanta. Now the news is that the makers has been given the title to the film as "Chammak Challo", taken from the popular Kareena Kapoor’s number from Shah Rukh Khan’s RA.One.
Neelakantha, who came into reckoning with the film Show, made films like Missamma, Nandanavanam 120 kms, Mr Medhavi and Virodhi. Unlike his previous films, Chammak Challo, starring Varun Sandesh, is a romantic entertainer more in the genre of mainstream formula
movies.
"It`s a tasteful commercial entertainer with good doses of romance, comedy and other ingredients in the correct measures," says the director, who won rave reviews for his last film Virodhi.
With the director willing to move out of his off-beat zone and trying to find his place among mainstream film-makers, it looks like Varun has a winner on hand.
The shooting of the film is now in progress and the producer DS Rao is planning to release the film in May. Let`s see Chammak "Challo" can change Varun`s fate in 2012
