A section of media reported that international pop singer Akon would be making his debut in Telugu with Puri Jagannadh's The Businessman . When we contacted the director Puri Jagannadh, he said that news was false. Currently shooting for the movie in Mumbai with Mahesh Babu, Puri said that was completely wrong news.
He says that, “I am planning to complete this film within four months. This film will surely be a “Sankranti” special from Prince Mahesh.”
Puri Jagannadh is extremely confident over the script as he expects this film to be on par with Pokiri. Kajal is the heroine in this film and Thaman scores the music.
Akon recently made his bollywood debut with his famous song ‘Chamak Challo’ in Sharukh Khan’s Ra-One. His pop albums include ‘Trouble’,'Freedom’ and ‘Konvickted’
