Popular comedian Vennela Kishore is making his directorial debut with ‘Vennela 1½’ in which ‘Adi Nuvve’ fame Chaitanya Krishna and Monal Gajjar are the hero and heroines. Vennela 1.5 is the sequel of Deva Katta's Vennela which earned cult comedy status among A class audience. This is also a full length of comedy entertainer like the previous one. The film also has a tag line which needs some algebra knowledge to understand it. The tag line is: "Love plus laugh whole cube minus logic."
The movie has completed its shooting and currently post production work is going on at brisk pace. The makers are planning to release this movie in the month of February on the occasion of Mahasivaratri.
Vennela Kishore is acting and directing this movie. Brahmanandam, Raghu babu, Giridhar, Master Bharath, Harish, Vennela Madhu, Vennela Kishore, Agnesh, Sravan are playing important roles in this movie.t
Suresh Bhargav is the cinematographer and Sunil Kashyap is the music director while Krishna Chaitanya and Sirasri penned the lyrics. Vasu and Verma are producing the film under GR8 Films banner.
